Adaptive Hikes, Treks, and Tours
“Nature and culture belong to everyone, every step tells a story and everyone deserves to walk it.”

At Nirmala Foundation, we believe in designing experiences that embody accessibility, inclusion, and empowerment. Through our carefully crafted adaptive hikes, treks, and tours, we aim to break down barriers and ensure that the wonders of Nepal are accessible to individuals of all abilities, especially those individuals with physical disabilities.
We recognize that nature and cultural exploration should never be limited by mobility or social challenges. At the Nirmala Foundation, we offer inclusive programs that empower individuals by providing opportunities for physical health, mental well-being, and connection. Our initiatives create supportive spaces where participants can explore iconic landscapes, historic treks, and cultural sites while feeling welcomed. By removing barriers to travel and exploration, we are committed to empowering individuals to experience the world in new and meaningful ways. Our mission is to foster a sense of belonging and freedom, ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability or background, can engage with and appreciate the beauty of our shared heritage. Together, we are building a future where exploration is accessible to all, promoting health and well-being through every journey.
Our adaptive initiatives are more than just outdoor activities—they represent hope, independence, and social inclusion. As we continue designing these transformative experiences, we envision Nepal as a place where diversity is celebrated, exploration is inclusive, and every person can connect with the natural beauty and cultural richness of this incredible nation.
Adaptive Hikes
Nature is a journey meant for everyone. Our adaptive hikes offer accessible pathways through Nepal’s most scenic landscapes, enhancing mobility and allowing individuals of all abilities, especially those with physical disabilities, to experience nature’s magic. These hikes are carefully designed to remove physical barriers, improving mobility and making trails like the serene valleys and mountain paths a shared adventure for all.

Adaptive Treks
Nepal is home to iconic treks like Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, and Langtang Valley. However, many individuals with mobility challenges have struggled to access these breathtaking routes. With our adaptive treks, we ensure that everyone, regardless of their mobility level, has the opportunity to connect with the beauty of Nepal’s rugged mountains and majestic peaks. These treks empower participants, promote health and well-being, and create unforgettable memories, making these iconic treks accessible to all.
Adaptive Tours
Explore Nepal’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant local communities with our adaptive tours. These experiences are designed to ensure that cultural exploration is accessible to all, regardless of mobility or ability. From historic temples to traditional villages, our adaptive tours allow participants to engage with Nepal’s diverse traditions and history while fostering social connections and shared experiences. By improving mobility access, we ensure that everyone can enjoy the beauty and history of Nepal in an inclusive and meaningful way.

Breaking Barriers, Building Connection
At Nirmala Foundation, our mission is to make every step possible—because every journey matters. Our adaptive hikes, treks, and tours go beyond exploration—they are a symbol of independence, mobility, inclusion, and community. These experiences give participants the confidence to overcome limitations and connect with their environment and peers. By improving mobility access, these initiatives promote both mental and physical well-being, paving the way for a more inclusive and welcoming tourism industry in Nepal. We are committed to making every adventure accessible to all, ensuring that everyone can experience the beauty of Nepal’s landscapes.
Adaptive Recreation Ride

“Modified is More Denied-We Break the Barrier”
“Four Wheels For Free Will”
“Empowering lives with four-wheel scooters, we open doors to adventure and confidence. Through training, exploration, and community events, we show that everyone, regardless of ability, can enjoy the beauty of Nepal and lead vibrant, fulfilling lives.”
On 3rd Jan. 2024 We embarked on a journey to find a scenic, four wheeled scooter-friendly road-trail around Kathmandu. The journey led us to Lele, a hidden gem nestled amidst rolling hills, promising short, sweet rides with just a touch of off-road thrill for adventurous souls. It was a daring adventure ride with the ladies mini-gang making a half circle from the Lele village and riding down to the Bode through the hills on the other side. The ride was awesome with the beautiful village, temples, hills, city view, laughter and many more.
On 10th March 2024, We celebrated “International Women’s Day” riding our four wheel scooter from Boudha to Nagarkot. The day was full of happiness away from the chaos in nature with the blended adventure and festival “SHIVARATRI” with diverse professionals and backgrounds.
On April 14, 2024. We celebrated “Sisterhood on wheels” by organizing a one day Inclusive Ride with FreeW: two wheels to freewill from Boudha to Nagarkot.
We had a chance to ride with the international female riders and Nepali Professional Riders and trainers. Our four wheel riders share their personal stories, challenges and triumphs. Together, on two and four wheels, we celebrated our womanhood power.
We promote accessible tourism in Nepal by organizing and participating in riding events that explore diverse cultures, nature, and regions, allowing riders to experience the country’s rich heritage and breathtaking landscapes. We foster newfound freedom that builds confidence, inclusivity, and awareness within the tourism industry, demonstrating that people with disabilities can lead vibrant, adventurous lives and contribute to a more equitable and understanding society.
